Plymouth Tree People were invited by Plymouth Community Homes to help them plant some trees outside the flats on King Street for the benefit of the residents.
After speaking to the residents, the majority of whom were happy about news trees going in, we decided to plant a fastigiate form of Hornbeam. They can cope with the shade and won't grow too wide, so shouldn't get too close to the building.
As well and this, we planted a new plum and fig tree.
A big thanks to all the fantastic volunteers who came along to help on the planting day!
